Globerto Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 September 2026

Globerto is an iOS geography game show. This page describes what the app uses and why. We do not run our own account system or app server.

What stays on your device

Your nickname, game history, practice bests, sound setting, stage theme, tip count, and Backstage Pass cache are stored locally on the device.

Game Center

Scores, weekly titles, achievements, leaderboards, and optional challenges go through Apple Game Center. Apple handles that identity. We do not receive a separate login.

Purchases

Backstage Pass and Tip the Host are Apple In-App Purchases. Receipt checks go through Apple and RevenueCat so the Pass can restore on your other devices (and Family Sharing, when you use it). Tips do not unlock features. We do not see your full payment card details.

Advertising (free players)

If you do not have Backstage Pass, the free show is ad-supported with Google AdMob (interstitials after some finished shows, and an optional rewarded ad to continue Marathon).

Google may collect device and advertising identifiers, IP address, coarse location, and interaction data to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland you will see a consent form first. On iOS you may also see Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change ad choices later from About → Privacy Options when that row is shown.

Backstage Pass holders do not see ads. If you already have the Pass at launch, the ad SDK is not started. If you buy or restore the Pass later in that session, ad requests stop and any loaded ads are discarded.

Children

Globerto is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
